What to Expect

When and Where is Worship Service?

Trinity Offers Online and In-Person Worship

On Sundays, we regularly offer:

9:45 am - Sunday School Classes for all ages in both of our buildings

11:00 am - Traditional Service in Turner McCall Sanctuary in Building A

A nursery for ages 4 and under is available during our services and Sunday School Classes every Sunday morning. Please note that Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month. All are welcome at God’s table. We also have Small Groups meeting weekly in-person/online on different days and/or times. Please contact your group leader or our church office for more information.

What to Wear

We don’t care how you dress. We just want you to experience God’s presence with us.

At Trinity UMC, we want people to be more focused on their faith than on what they’re wearing. In our in-person services, most people wear business casual clothes while others dress in t-shirts and jeans. However you dress, we want you to feel comfortable. Whatever you wear, we think you’ll fit in great!

Where to Go

Trinity UMC in downtown Rome is hard to miss. Conveniently located off of Turner McCall Blvd and 5th Avenue, Trinity is 3 blocks from Broad Street and within walking distance to Barron Stadium and Ridge Ferry Park. (Just ask the locals to point out the church that has the Pumpkin Patch out front in the Fall and a Live Nativity during Christmas season!)

Once on Trinity’s campus, you’ll notice two separate yet easily recognizable church buildings with steeples. The two story church building right on Turner McCall Boulevard is called the Turner McCall Building and is marked as Building A.

Trinity’s main worship services, Sunday School classes, the nursery, Wednesday night activities, most meetings, and the children and youth ministries mostly meet in the Turner McCall Building. Please call the church office at 706-291-0033 if you need assistance locating an event or meeting you would like to attend.

Where to Park

At Trinity UMC, we have a very large parking lot between the buildings on our campus. You will not have to worry about finding a parking space.

Want the VIP experience? We saved parking spaces just for you right in front of the red double doors on the backside of the Turner McCall Building. Don’t want the VIP experience? Any parking spaces you see between Turner McCall Blvd and 5th Avenue are free game.

Those with accessibility needs have marked parking spaces in front of the entrance.

Is childcare available?

A nursery room for children age 4 and under is available during Sunday School and Traditional Worship Services.

Who do I talk to about my questions or concerns?

We are blessed with amazing volunteers at Trinity that love to help. Our greeters and ushers will be wearing badges to let you know that they are here to help you. We also have an LRE (Loving, Relating, and Encouraging others) ministry that would love to sit and chat with you during or after service. Please don’t hesitate to reach out!
