Worship is the heart, soul and backbone of Trinity United Methodist Church. We offer a variety of worship opportunities and styles.
"Oh, come, let us sing to the Lord! Give a joyous shout in honor of the Rock of our salvation! Come before Him with thankful hearts. Let us sing him psalms of praise. For the Lord is a great God, the great King of all gods."
Psalms 95 1-3
8:30 a.m. - Praise and Worship Hour - Sunday morning in the sanctuary. The Praise Singers Choir provides special music. Congregational songs are a blend of traditional and contemporary music. Each service is marked by a time of faith and sharing from members of the church.
9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. - Traditional Worship Services - Sunday morning in the sanctuary of the church. The liturgy and music make this a very moving and meaningful service. The service is complemented by our Chancel Choir which provides outstanding music. The service follows the traditional United Methodist Order of Worship, often enhanced with special music presented by members of the Chancel Choir.
Children's Worship: A Children’s Moment is included at the Sunday morning worship services, as well as Children’s Church for preschool age children. We also have a nursery for children under 4 years of age provided at all three Sunday services.
Communion: is the first Sunday of each month and on special observances as shown on the church calendar. As is the tradition in the United Methodist Church, communion is open to all who profess faith in God and belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Special Worship Services: We invite you to join us for special worship services through the year on: Christmas Eve; New Year's Eve; Ash Wednesday; Holy Thursday; Good Friday; Easter; and others found here. Visit our web site during special seasons of the year for details or call for more information.
Sermon Tapes: Our pastor's sermons are available on CDs. You may pick one up, free of charge, from a basket in the foyer of the church. Sermons are also available to: listen to on the website, download, or subscribe to in iTunes at Sermon Podcasts. Transcripts are also available online at Third Street Ministries. The CDs are a recording of the whole service, sermon and music. Third Street Ministries has the sermon only.
