Nursery Information
Trinity has three beautiful nurseries, located off the hallway near the sanctuary.
- Cradle Nursery is for crib babies and babies who are crawling.
- The Walker Nursery is for toddlers and preschoolers.
- The 2 and 3 year old Nursery is for children up to 4 years of age. This room is where our 2 and 3 year old Sunday School class meets.
Our nurseries are available on Sunday Mornings, 8:15 am - 12:15 pm, and on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 - 7:30 pm
At Trinity we recognize the role of the church in providing for the spiritual and physical needs of babies and small children. Children are a gift from God and they can experience God’s love through the caring and nurturing environment provided to them in our nurseries. Time spent in the nursery should be positive and meaningful for them and help lay a firm foundation of faith in their lives.
Trinity has four paid nursery workers on Sundays, and we also use parent/church volunteers. Our paid nursery workers are:
- Sylvis Brierly, who has been with us for 20+ years
- Tatum Dorsey, who has worked for us for 8+ years
- Valerie Huckaby and Denise Thomas, who have worked for us 1 year.
On Wednesday evenings Teri Lansdell and Melissa Pettyjohn provide care for our chldren.
Each of these ladies are dedicated to giving the best care to our chldren. All nursery workers and volunteers have been through the Child Adult Protection Policy training and have passed a national criminal background check.
