Youth Choir still taking members!

The Trinity Youth Group is preparing for our Summer Choir Tour 2010, which kicks off on Wednesday night, June 2nd.  We will be touring, performing our musical, and doing mission work from June 3-14 in the cities of Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, Cleveland, Chicago, and Indianapolis.  Currently, we have more than 50 youth signed up to attend, but we still have room for more, so if you would like to participate in choir tour, we would love to see you this Sunday at 4 pm in the King Building for Youth Choir rehearsal.  We are also in need of adding another guitarist to our youth choir band, "The Parachutes", so if you have guitar skills, we'd love to hear from you!

 

Mission IsPossible completes 4 Years of Service!

 

Our monthly, youth-led Mission IsPossible local outreach program has completed 4 YEARS OF SERVICE in the Rome/Floyd community(and beyond), and will enter its FIFTH year on Saturday, March 27 with a day of service at Murphy Harpst Children's Home in Cedartown(followed by local service work on Sunday, March 28 in Rome.  That is 48 consecutive months of being the "hands and feet of Jesus" in our community.  Way to go Mission IsPossible!  If you know of someone in need of assistance in our community, or would like to volunteer for a great day of service through MIP, contact MIP coordinator Anna McDaniel at annamc4mip@aol.com.

 

YUTES, PLEASE GET YOUR MUSIC SUBMISSIONS IN FOR THIS YEAR'S CHOIR TOUR ASAP!  We've got some great submission so far, including songs by Barlow Girl, Brandon Heath, Matt Papa, Five For Fighting, and Rob Thomas, but are still looking for more good music.  If you've got a song that really speaks to you and could be used to speak to others about God's love, bring them in ASAP!

 

Youth SONRISE service!

Don't forget about our youth-lead Sonrise service this Easter at 7 am in the Martha King Building.  Rehearsal for the service will be on Wednesday night, March 31 from 6:15-8:30 pm.  If you would like to participate, please be sure to attend the Wednesday night practice on March 31!
