CURRICULUM
PALS has a theme-based curriculum. Teachers plan age-appropriate activities around such themes as
- Animals
- Colors
- Community Helpers
- Families
- Food and Cooking
- Holidays and Seasons
- Weather
PALS publishes a calendar/newsletter each month with that month's themes listed.
Activities coordinated around each theme include art, crafts, music, games, stories, fine motor, large motor, science, pre-math, social skills, and visual discrimination.
In our curriculum, we balance the child's need for free-play and creative choices with his need for structure and teacher-directed play. The amount of teacher-directed activity varies with the ages of the children.

SUMMER PROGRAMS
PALS is open for a couple of weeks during the summer. We close forsix weeks, the last two weeks of June and the month of July.
We also have PALS Plus, a summer program for school-age children, which meets at the same times as PALS. This is a recreational program, with arts, crafts, and games, available to the older siblings of our PALS children.
TUITION & PAYMENT
NOTE: PALS offers parents two payment options:
Option #1: A co-op program where parents volunteer once a month in a classroom allowing for a reduction in tuition and involvement with other children and parents at PALS.
Option #2: Parents do not volunteer in a classroom and pay higher tuition. The tuition fees for this option are listed in parentheses below.
Registration/Supply fee: ...........................$30
(Non-Refundable)
Monthly Tuition fees:
One Child / One Day per Week ........$40($55)
One Child / Two Days per Week ......$60($90)
One Child / Three Days per Week...$85($115)
Sibling Discount:
If you have more than one child in PALS, you may volunteer one extra day every two months to reduce your tuition by $15 per month.
NOTE: Tuition is due on the 10th of each month. After the 10th, please add a $3 late fee. Any co-op parent who fails to work and does not get an approved substitute is charged $35.

- Complete a registration form.
- Submit the registration fee and first month's tuition.
Note: If a class in the program is full, we do maintain a waiting list.
